I am a freelance copyeditor and proofreader, specializing in all forms of Romance, Suspense, YA, and LGBTQ+.  

I am a wife to Chris and dog mom to Minne (editor assistant) and Griffin (our new hire!). I am also a cancer survivor.

I started copyediting and proofreading for businesses, which included human resources documents and other business documents.  In 2019, I opened Bookworm Yogi to work with fiction authors. 

 Why did I choose Bookworm Yogi as my business name?

When setting up my business, I knew this would be my passion - to be a small part in helping authors achieve their dreams.

If I take a look at my life, excluding my family, what are my passions?

Reading - I have been a bookworm since I started reading. My love of books increased even more when I became a "library helper" in grade school. Being in the school library was this bookworm's dream.

Yoga - Yoga has helped me so much in my life. I learned to focus and manage my stress with yoga. Nowadays, yoga helps me recover from the trauma my body has experienced.

This name reminds me that everyone has a passion, and I am working with authors on their passion.

My job is to respect that in every interaction.
